It is a requirement within Australia to hold registration to be called a Podiatrist and all the registration certificates and qualifications of each podiatrist are on display within the clinic.
We have designed our clinical spaces to provide the ideal setting for assessment of whatever age or stage our patients are at. We have a number of podiatrists on staff with different special interests, meaning that we can provide a podiatry service that is specific to you or your family's needs. We are also one of the few fully accredited podiatry practices in Victoria through the Podiatry Practice Accreditation Program of the Australian Podiatry Council.

Most of our new patient appointments are 30 minutes unless it is for more complex assessment and treatment. New appointments for dance podiatry are 45 min and new paediatric appointments are 60 minutes. There are additional charges for the longer appointments. We bill according to time spent with you and will always try to minimise your time spent in the clinic, while providing comprehensive assessment and developing a treatment plan.
On the day of your appointment, please arrive 10 minutes early to complete a new patient form. To save time, you can also download the form and bring it in to your appointment. We rarely run late. If this is occurs, we will always try to notify you. Please let us know if you are running late for your appointment. We have a cancellation policy, which is listed on the new patient form.
Please bring your private health insurance card to claim your rebates, your medicare card if you have a medicare referral from your doctor, and any other relevant referrals.
We accept payment by MasterCard, Visa or cash on the day. We do not accept accounts unless by prior arrangement and we don't accept American Express.
You will usually receive a text reminder about your appointment a few days before to remind you about the appointment.
We have parking on site at Cheltenham, it is entered from both Warrigal and Centre Dandenong Rds. At Berwick, parking is behind the clinic.
We understand that life happens. Your appointment time is valuable, we ask for a 24-hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel the appointment. Our cancellation policy is on your new patient information form. If you miss an appointment, we’ll call you to reschedule.
Our new patient consultation fees are between $85 and $150. We’re happy to discuss these charges in more detail when you are making your appointment.

Alicia James has additional qualifications in podiatry, also having completed the Masters of Health Science (Podiatry). Within this study she has gained post-graduate experience in Sports medicine, Paediatrics and Wound Care – Diabetes. She is also registered as an endorsed prescriber for scheduled medicines.
Alicia is a director on the Australian Podiatry Association (Vic) board and was awarded the Jennifer O'Meara Award early in 2010. She started working in Kingston Foot Clinic in 2008 and also works within the public sector.
Cylie Williams has been practising podiatry for over 20 years in both the public and private sectors and has extensive experience in assessment and treatment of lower limb conditions in children.She has completed her Masters of Health Science (Health Education and Promotion), which incorporated group facilitation and education components.
Over the past 10 years, Cylie has primarily worked in the public setting in paediatric multidisciplinary teams with physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
Simone joined Kingston Foot Clinic in 2010. She has an interest in all aspects of podiatry.
Like many of our podiatrists, Simone works part time across the public and private sectors, her public sector role involving diabetes assessment and wound care and paediatric multidisciplinary assessment. She is currently working towards her Paediatric Podiatry Credential with the Australian Podiatry Council.
Simone also has an interest in injury prevention, obtaining her Level 1 Sports Trainers Certificate in 2008.
Caitlin started working at Kingston Foot Clinic after 4 years of working with the Australian Ballet, giving her unparalleled experience in Dance Podiatry. She has worked closely with all of Australia’s leading dance shoe providers.
Not only is she a skilled podiatrist, she has taught Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Ballet, and Pointe classes at various dance schools since 2005.Caitlin also provides continuing education on Dance Podiatry for other podiatrists.
Caitlin has experience in all areas of podiatry but coordinates a dedicated dance podiatry service for pre-pointe assessment,
Camilla is again another podiatrist who spreads her work across Kingston Foot Clinic and the public sector.
Camilla has great footwear experience and enjoys managing complex diabetes related foot problems.

Melissa is the person you will most likely speak to on the phone and first person who will greet you at the Cheltenham site of Kingston Foot Clinic. She is our star practice manager and keeps us all in line.
